It's a girl!

I guess the "guess the gender" poll was right on! A girl it is... :)
Well, sorry for the late notice... and anyone who reads this likely already knows this, but time seems to have flown this past week! Our beautiful baby girl Ella Lydia Walden was born on January 6th at 4:45 pm in the afternoon, weighing in at 8 pounds and 14 ounces, 21.5 inches long. Labor was induced at 9 am and just under 8 hours later she arrived! Everything went very smoothly, and we have now been home since the evening of the 8th. We (or I) am working on fairly minimal sleep these days, but Ella has been a great baby so far, I have no complaints. She is adorable, and a good eater, not fussy at all (... so far). She loves to snuggle with people and counts her daddy as the perfect place to snooze. I will keep this short and sweet, but will hopefully have more time to update things in the coming week or two with more pics. Just know that we are all very happy and doing well here in LaCrosse, despite the -30 degree forecast for tonight!
